Find out how you can analyze the interior of a component without any losses with the help of computed tomography and how possible causes for discrepancies can be detected at an early stage by extracting the fiber orientation and mapping it in coupling with the simulation. A special thank you to him.

>>> Tobias Schäfer, R&D Engineer at SimpaTec, is going to hold a presentation titled "Validation & Verification of the simulation of composites & structural behavior by means of CT scans" and will show how considerable time and costs can be saved for the verfiication and validation of fibre reinforced components already in the design phase by coupling simulation and computed tomography. Furthermore, he explains in detail the available possibilities to perform meaningful simulation analyses and how to eliminate error potentials, thus creating ideal conditions for the production of optimized fiber-reinforced components.
