The module maps the dynamics of the fluid injection technique to the injection molding process .The simulation of the second phase (water), and the resulting wall thicknesses, as well as the distortion of the component are analyzed in detail. Thus, the optimization of the entry points, channels and injection time, plus the design of the component are substantially simplified.
Results regarding material contact surfaces, the distribution of the material in the cavity, flow front patterns, the penetration of the core material or the point at which core material breaks through the surface ("skin break through point") are available.
