Register now!!! Especially in our industry, the responsibility is high - the question of environmentally friendly, sustainable product development and a cautious, future-oriented use of resources elementary.
Green light at 4 p.m.!
Rethink traditional approaches and discover new potentials. Operating in the plastics industry means being aware of your special responsibility! Topics such as product efficiency, conscious use of resources, but also the realization of the indispensability of plastics in order to be able to achieve set climate targets at all, require a change of thinking and active action by the industry.
Our guest speaker, Gerhard Zenz, who works in the field of application technology at Biesterfeld Interowa GmbH & Co.KG can also confirm this: "The United Nations' sustainability goals also require us to ambitiously break new ground in finding sustainable solutions to environmental problems in the plastics industry. We are happy to meet these challenges." The focus of his presentation will be on green materials and sustainable trends in polymer materials.
Dr. Andrea Winterstetter, Global Sustainability Manager and Circular Economy Manager EMEA at KRAIBURG TPE GmbH & Co. KG, also confirms the importance of this subject: "The plastics industry must increasingly address sustainability issues. KRAIBURG TPE considers sustainability an essential element for the long-term success of the company and therefore intends to develop it into another core competence by the end of 2023." We are very much looking forward to her technical presentation regarding TPE’s and their contribution towards recycling.
A heartly thank you in advance to our two guest speakers having a profound knowledge, will present sustainable facts evolving around the production of plastic components for our SpotON and thus offering participants interesting detailed information. Our Marc Kurz, Managing Director of SimpaTec, will explain the simulation approach for bioplastics and provide insights into sustainable options, possibilities and necessities of a holistic virtual product development in his presentation titled: "With process simulation and structural mechanics to more sustainability".
