Summer break farewell – does SpotOn “ring a bell?!”
Blazing forward with a fresh energy!!
The summer break is over - our digital, free event series "SpotOn" starts again. Proven and established will focus our SPOT - onto your topics!!! Here fore, we are getting extra expertise on board and are mutually going to look at current developments, methods, optimization possibilities or technical innovations in injection molding. A special focus will be set on the aspects of the simulation process, involved technologies and their practical application. Join us now for our After-Summer- SpotOn "Elastomer - Mr. Fantastic of Plastic(s)", Thursday, 15.09.2022, 4.00 p.m.!!!
This time, our SpotOn focuses on facts about the fantastic world of elastomers. This special type of dimensionally stable but elastically deformable plastic opens up a fascinating variety of possibilities. They can deform elastically under tensile and pressure loads but always return to their initial, undeformed shape. Elastomers are primarily used when elastic properties are required. Typical product examples are seals, rubber bands, tires etc ...
Learn more about elastomers and their special properties, for example by taking a detailed look at the topic of viscoelasticity within this SpotOn. We would like to thank our guest speaker __ Mrs. Nina Krempl, responsible for research assistant at the institure for plastics processing at the Montanuniversity Leoben, for the detailed and interesting technical facts on this topic.
In a further technical presentation, our __ Mr. Steffen Paul, Managing Director of SimpaTec, will present the role of simulation in this process and how the potential of coupled, holistic virtual product development can be exploited efficiently, fully and sustainably.
You are welcome to ask your questions and suggestions directly & throughout the event in the chat. At the end of the SpotOn we will get to the bottom of the most important questions in a discussion round.
Being one step ahead of times and knowing what will be required tomorrow is essential. Expectations of product and process management in the plastics industry are changing rapidly and significantly. It is essential to follow the latest research results, trends and innovations with commitment in order to recognize the latest development trends at an early stage and to incorporate them into the further development of products, processes, software and services.
Broaden your horizon and learn about fantastic facts from the elastomer world. Register now!!!
By the way - Germanspeaking interested people have the possibility to learn more about this topic, in our
